Crans Advises on Swift City-Centre Acquisition as Threesmith Group Buys Victoria Buildings from Kinrise
Threesmith Group Holdings Ltd has completed the acquisition of Victoria Buildings from Kinrise Real Estate at the end of July, marking the first purchase for the newly established and fast-growing property investment group led by James and Luke Smith. Based in Elland, Threesmith Group is targeting a significant expansion of its commercial property portfolio, with Victoria Buildings representing its second prime city-centre mixed-use acquisition in just six months.
The transaction was completed at exceptional speed, moving from offer to completion in only 28 days. Crans Property Consultants and Schofield Sweeney acted on behalf of the purchaser, while the vendor Kinrise was advised by Carrick Real Estate, OBI, and Withers Worldwide.
Commenting on the deal, David Cran, director at Crans Property Consultants, said:
“This was a fabulous opportunity for my clients to acquire a prime asset with longer term asset management opportunities, this building has rarely traded and with recent lettings and tenant expansions represents another fantastic acquisition in preparation for the reopening of Albert Square in 2025”.
